Welp, getting ready to swap out the one piece rear main seal on my 351w block. I swapped out the oil pan gasket hoping for a miracle but nothing doing. Anyone have a guess at how much time this will take? I am thinking maybe 8 hours with the help of a friend. Any tricks or suggestions? I think I might order a crank sleeve just of the heck of it to be safe. Also an instal tool for the sleeve and seal as it seems that the majority of them that fail after install is because they were put in straight. I am going to build a set of tire blocks out of wood for this job. I have regular stands but they won't get the car up high enough. It's a C6, any idea how high I need to get the car off the ground? I was thinking a little over a foot, maybe 16 inches?
