I know, its a bad idea to tear apart a survivor car. This is a 1 owner 100% original Z28. So let me clear this up, For months I was looking for a base Camaro.
I had the worse luck. People were selling these car's (in junk form for $$$$$$) I wanted to make it my own color with my own color interior. I did not have a problem
with owning a Z clone. A youtuber hooked me up with a friend of his who sold Camaros in Washington. I gave him a call and he had like 40 to choose from. I end up
with a true Z with miles of documentation and the build sheet. 99% rust free. The price was spot on and the deal was struck. So, I will keep original color and interior color(rare) combo. and upgrade everything else. Here she is!!

That will be a cool car with an LS and 6 speed; 2nd owner, nice. You know its funny, but here in the southwest about 20 years ago, all the circle tracks (short track asphalt and dirt) raced 3rd Gen Camaros, all the time, in Factory Stock classes. Parts and pieces in the junk yard were everywhere. I kind thought is was abuse at the time, but "was what it was". Never thought many (beyond maybe 70-71) would end up as classic cool "Pro Touring" cars, but now there pretty cool. Should be a lot of fun and parts are plentiful. Interested to see "what all" you do to it.

Got the FEAD for it. This is based on the 98/02 camaro. But with a truck spacing. So no need for any
frame mods or welding. Nice, tight, compact and plenty of clearance. More to come.

Looks like a great project. A very wise body man told me many years ago always spend the money upfront to buy the most rust free project car you can.
I done a ew LS swaps on second gen Camaros. Current one is a 80 RS.210687210688210689210687

I done a few LS swaps on second gen Camaros. Current one is a 80 RS. The 80 was a bone stock RS with a V6/three speed combo. 28K original miles. Zero rust.

Cool car, and quite frankly the originals NEED modification. Good thing they take to it so well.
