I have a 57 Chevy I am starting on; it will be more than likely LS3 powered. I was wondering what you all are using for wiring harness options. I was looking at a Painless harness but as I am new to the classic car builds, I want to ask opinions. I was always an import car guy but now it is time to do this 57 in tribute to my dad and build it to make him proud. It will be a pro touring build and I have an Art Morrison chassis on order for it, but I want to rewire it for dependability. Sorry if this is basic and has been answered before.

I can't answer your question, but would suggest that you take a look at trifive.com. There is a section there devoted entirely to LS conversions, and I am sure that there will be an answer in the FAQ section. Good luck.

I used an American Autowire Classic Update harness on the trifive builds I have done. Good product.

On my frame off LS builds I use the Painless universal chassis wiring harness. I use Speartech and Howell for the LS wiring harness.

You really can't go wrong with either Painless or AAW. Both are great options.
