Looks great! Are you running stock subframe as well? What are the specs on front wheels, and was 8" the widest you could squeeze in if subframe is stock?

Thanks, yes running stock subframe w/detroit speed kit, drop spindles...18 X 8 FRONT W/ 5.250 Backspacing...Plenty of clearance in and out...8" wheel will be the widest unless you change steering or go to
aftermarket front subframe...My tie rod end is pretty close to wheel where it attaches to spindle...
Hope this helps...

Good deal, thanks for the info. I am waiting on my 67 to get out of paint jail, which should be here very soon, and will be ready to do brakes and wheels/tires. I'm running stock sub as well, all Speedtech stuff and rack and pinion, so hoping I can squeeze something a tad wider on the front.

Yep, maybe able to go 8.5 -9 on the 67 with rack...I would have liked to go to a 9 but just did'nt have the room...

Following, as I’ve just joined here, I have a 68 rs im updating after nearly 40 years of ownership… I’m trying for a tucked wheel profile like yours, which looks great btw.
I found a nice set of 17x 8 25mm off. /5.50 bs for the front , I have a full ridetech coil:arms/truturn/spindle front set up. Was looking at 225 45 17 Michelin sport4
The rear wheels are 17x10” 51mm offset/7.50 backspace 255-275 40 17. Of course until I get the wheel/fitment tool from speedway motors bolted up I really won’t know if these are possible, but the offset/ backspace numbers seem to line up with what the tech at ridetech has used in the past, of course no two builds are the same….I really like you 18’s though
