Hi All,
Really excited to be able to access this fantastic community here.
First off I'm trying to find a front brake solution for my 67 Camaro. I've installed the brand new Global West upper & lower control arms, using my stock disk brake spindles.
I have in stock Holden HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) Clubsport PBR calipers which are identical to C5 C6 calipers. I have also the 325mm x 32mm rotors. I was going to just get the C5 conversion hub adapters to slide onto my stock disk spindle.
I've found the CPP C5 Spindle stock height(advertised with a 1" drop though, and I already have tall upper ball joints), which will then require a C5 C6 or C7 hub to bolt on.
Other option is the AFX Spindle from Sppedtech i believe, but I think my stock steering arm needs changing then too??
Any recommendations for or against the CPP spindle adapter? I'm thinking it's the easiest, just unsure about its quality?
I want to use the car around circuit tracks when we move back to Perth at the end of our country stint.
Hopefully these questions can be answered here, if not I'll create another post/ topic.
Cheers!!!

Welcome, both options will work if you're sticking with the stock spindle i would reach out to kore3, they should be able to get you hooked up. If you choose the CPP spindles you will want to grab a good set of hubs. Lots of threads on the CPP hubs. Ridetech also has a new C5 style hub, more expensive than CPP though.

Thanks jk918! I week or 2 ago I ordered to GMSS C5/C6 hub adapter, brackets and hardware through Tobin.
I had been in touch with Tobin over a long period of time, never quite pulled the trigger on the full kit due to COVID-19 and AUD- USD conversion rate. Also, Tobin advised me to source the dba rotors & the pbr (C5/C6) calipers locally if I could. I slowly ticked these items off the list since COVID-19. As well, I as it took forever to find the same brake caliper as the C5/C6, I looked into the ones through KORE3 and found out they were remanufactured ones, not reconditioned genuine pbr ones, I wasn't keen on that.
Certainly keen to go down the Ridetech conversion hubs in the future!

Another Aussie here. I have the C5 brakes on the AFX spindle, works a treat. PBR made the C5 calipers. I have the HSV set up on my Holden Adventra.

Cheers Roger! I have received the brake mounting brackets from Tobin but yet to fit them up. Just been doing the AAW Classic Update wiring amongst other things. I'll fit them up and then rebuild the hsv c5 calipers.
Who would you use for the flexi brake lines that are adr approved? I see there's a company on ebay, just need to make sure of the length. Making my own hard lines so it'll all be metric, with wh statesman booster/ master and VS commodore live rear disk on a 9 inch.
