Does anyone make a soft, kind of rubbery, coating? Something which would give a custom dash or console a factory sort of feel?
Thanks!

I made an aluminum console for my Camaro and had it covered in cloth. It turned out good209071

Original Plastidip will feel rubbery, but won't have any cushion or feel "soft" like a soft-touch dash would.

I'm not so much looking for soft like a soft dash, but softer than straight paint.
I think I might try 4-way stretch vinyl, first, though.

I used some vinyl to cover a piece of aluminum on my dash, it's satin black and does have some depth visually, but feels totally smooth.

Used to use vinyl dye from Napa which was made by Martin senior which basically is thin down lacquer paint from what I understood Sem used to make vinyl dyes.
