Engine is 351C, 4V heads, will be running a Howards roller cam (CL230245-12) and roller rockers (90083), wasn't sure what length ARP stud it takes. 7/16 stud, anyone know which stud to use? Thanks

An email to Howard's Cams got me an answer of 1.9" length. If anyone knows any different, please speak up. I know the heads have to have the pedestals machined for them. Dropping the heads of at the machinist Monday so I'll verify then.

With a solid roller, you might consider a girdle for the studs, which will require a longer stud and taller valve covers. You are looking in the wrong place for engine questions here. Go over to yellowing the NA section. Lots of Cleveland guys on there.

For the 351C engine with 4V heads, you'll want to use ARP 7/16 studs for the rocker arms. These studs are designed to fit and provide the necessary strength for the roller rockers and camshaft setup you're planning to run. ARP is known for producing high-quality and reliable engine fasteners, so using their studs will ensure proper performance and durability.

Thanks, just wanted to confirm the stud length.
