I have a 1969 Camaro with a smoothed firewall and Vintage Air AC that I'm wiring (it has a firewall vertical AC/heater line bulkhead connector installed already). I want to use the kick panel vents for speakers (The Shop LLC), so has anyone run a ~1" flexible PVC conduit from the heater motor cover plate (under fender) to the passenger fresh air cowl vent block off plate (from VA)? It seems like a good weatherproof bypass for battery cables and control wires that would exit above the VA evaporator...

It's been done before, just be sure to use grommets and seal the connections off best you can. Engine bay will be at pressure going down the road, cabin will be slightly lower pressure, so it will channel air through if not sealed properly.

I thought I'd seal it up on the "front side" with 3M strip calk...
