i have a 72 nova ex drag car with tail panel cut off switch,i removed all that stuff from trunk and the ford solenoid switch as well, now the car has no power to any thing,so when i removed all battery trunk parts it left car without any electrical power,so how do get power back, car was running fine and no problems before that, car has internal voltage reg in alternator, only pos cable on starter solenoid and has a under dash kill switch, car cranked with a column key. thanks

Really need more information on what the set up is, it's not clear where you are in the change to me from your post. If you were starting from scratch on the change - You need to run the positive cable from the battery to the main post on the starter and the trigger wire from the solenoid that was in the trunk to the solenoid on the starter. The power wire off the alternator should run to the positive post on the starter too. If you have a ground wire on the alternator it should be run back to the battery too, using the same size cable as the power wire on the alternator to the starter or larger. Many people run the ground through the frame/body which can work but it's not what you are supposed to do really. There should be an additional power wire from the battery that goes up to your main distribution where ever it is. Original set up that would be on the PS core support but you would need to trace it down if that's changed. If you don't need the battery in the trunk for your use, it might be easiest to just put it back where it was originally in the front.
