Hi everyone, trying to see which headers or manifolds I can start with on my single turbo build. The catch is I want to clear the A/C compressor. The only ones I've seen so far that could work are the CX Racing units but I've not heard great things about them.

Ive poured over pictures and threads but have only come across non AC examples.

I just want to start with already made headers. The rest I can piece together and have welded up. I don't trust anyone to hand fab manifolds though.

I am using the Hooker single turbo cast iron manifold kit on my GTO. The turbo stuff starts on post #504

Your best bet is to drop your car off to have a shop fabricate you a set of turbo manifolds, or your whole hot side for that matter. It’s really the only way to ensure it’ll fit perfectly. Buying something premade probably won’t be like you want with maybe to tight of clearances around parts. It won’t be cheap but it’ll be worth it doing it right the first time.

I see some people using the hooker kit, but if your accessory drive/engine bay can’t work with the configuration, it’s just going to cause problems.

Thanks
