Nice to meet you all! I was born and raised in Australia, but moved to the United States six years ago. I reckon Australia and the US have a lot of cultural similarities.
I grew up loving local Aussie muscle like the Ford XY GT HO Phase 3 (which was actually the fastest four door production car in the world), the Holden Torana XU-1 and Torana SLR5000, and the 1968-71 Holden Monaro GTS.
I've owned many Holdens though, including a HSV VF Maloo R8 LSA (it came standard with the LSA from the Gen 5 Camaro ZL1!), a blown Holden SS Ute, two VF Series II SS-V Redlines, among others.
I always loved US muscle (and particularly Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers, and Chargers) but they were rare Down Under. I'd only really see them at car shows. Seeing one on the street was a rare sight until the last decade, when Mustangs became a little more common.
I was really excited to come to the US and sample some of the local muscle. I owned a 2017 Camaro ZL1 - which was amazing - but I want to buy my dream car, which is a Protouring 67-68 Camaro. Keen to join the board and learn from the more experienced guys.
