Hi Folks,

My name says it all. My wife is an amazing woman, who allowed me to sell her jeep and buy the car I have wanted since I was a little kid. I’m 35 now, which makes me all the more thankful for my situation. I am incredibly happy to be here. I look forward to following your builds and sharing mine.

I am the ecstatic new owner of a 67 Firebird project. A shop in Alabama was building it for a customer, but unfortunate circumstances led to it being sold. It has a bunch of new metal, with almost all of the body work done. It has been mini tubbed, firewall smootherd, and it has prepped for flush glass. It came with an ls3 and a tr6060 I’m probably going to unload for a t-56 magnum. CPP tubular control arms. Hooker Blackheart swap kit including mid-length headers. Right Stuff power big brake kit on all 4 corners. Most of the car is there sans the interior.

The Plan - Susceptible to change at literally any second
LS3 injected with stage 2 cam. Valve job to match. Eventually supercharged(LSA or Whipple)
Power steering and AC
T-56 Magnum
Currie posi 9” with Ridetech 4 Link - unknown gear ratio at the moment.
Ridetech Coilovers

That’s my basic outline right now. This is going to take me some time, and that is what I wanted. There is a lot left to do, and I look forward to learning from all of you, and I hope I don’t ask too many questions.

Always sad to hear someone had to bail on a project but happy you got to scoop up your dream ride! Is the shop continuing the work or do you take over from here? Looks like a great start for you, good luck!

Nice car. All the tough stuff was done. Good plan going forward.

I'm taking over. A local guy will be doing the final prep and will paint the car. Then it's on to the long hard road of money and time. Lot of things I have not done, but I couldn't be more excited to get into it. Thanks for the replies!!
