Gen 6 GM Small Block

With all the EV stuff on the news the past few years, anyone see GM has a new small block on the way?

I have my doubts but I hope this is something guys with classic cars can integrate easy. I’m still most interested in Gen 1 and Gen 3 but I can only imagine what Gen 6 will offer. Aside from direct-injection, I’m not sure what else GM can do to develop the pushrod V8….unless they become OHC.

I was thinking the same thing, what else could they really do to make it that much different. I was thinking overhead cams too. Or I wonder if they would possibly make it smaller displacement and boosted?
