Again, as the title states, anyone got a set NIB?

They are going to be tough to find. The stocker rockers w/ a trunnion kit are pretty good, though. What size cam did you want to run? FYI, if you are doing rollers to avoid the LS7 guide problem, it's like putting a bandaid on a broken arm. It'll help, but won't fix the problem. If you didn't buy heads yet, I would tell you to get some Trick Flow LS7's. They are the best bang for the buck, by far, and have PM guides in them. If you have a need, I have a near new FAST LS7 Intake Manifold & Katech Fuel Rails along with an LS7 Edelbrock Super Charger I am selling.

Planning on new guides, roller rockers, and a pretty big cam. Shooting for over 2hp per cid with a 413 ls. Trying to do it with stock casting heads and a stock block, hydraulic, cam. 15:1, e85, and do drag and drives with it.

I am actually in the process of building something similar, but pump gas. Needs to turn 8200-8500rpm as I want to do some roll racing and 1 mile events and I am hood limited, so I can't run anything tall. I would not put $1 into factory LS7 heads and that's after owning 4-5 sets of them, from low mileage stockers to beat to death to rebuilt to rebuilt & beaten to death again. They just wear out so quick, not a cheap fix and runs a substantial risk of dropping a valve at rpm which will wipe out the rest of the motor. You may consider going LS3 architecture and I can put you in touch with someone I know online who has a running 2+hp per cube LS3 w/ ported 821 heads. It'll be cheaper and way more stable. I even have a good set of core 821 heads if you need a set.

So, new guides doesn't fix the issue with the stock heads? American Heritage Performance did mine and all is well so far but i only have 3800 miles on the build. I'm here for the info...

No, ultimately your problem is not fixed, just bandaid-ed for now. It's my opinion and a few top builders I know that the problem is the rocker pedestal. I think it's moving around at high loads and consequently hits the valve in a different spot each time, thereby wearing it out prematurely. To fix it permanently, you can have the rocker pedestals milled off and put shaft rockers on it. That is the only real fix. Otherwise, be prepared to buy some heads or do yours again.

I opted for these: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-1983-16

Hope that link works. Do you think those will help?

That design is probably the best bolt on design to help these heads. Good choice, but i would still pull them off before 30k and inspect.

Good Info, who's the ls3 guy? I'd be curious to see some flow numbers. Still talking 2hp per cube with stock castings?

That being said, do you have some TSP roller rockers for ls7s?
