1st gen camaro upper coilover 1/2 bolt eye conversion

Hey!

Got a 67 camaro with a factory subframe and want to put on coilovers with a 1/2 upper bolt.

Anyone know if there is a company out there that makes brackets I can weld on?

I got some brackets from RideTech.com in their components section. I'm not sure which bracket I used. I think I ended up modifying the 3 sided upper shock mount bracket. I cut the upper spring pocket and shock mount off of the stock frame. I will try to get a picture later today.

If you plan on using the stock sub frame, it needs to be welded along all the seams in order to stiffen it. From the factory they just stitch welded the subframe in short beads leaving areas unwelded which tend to flex when under heavy cornering load.
