72 Chevelle project

Hello everyone, my name is Frank. I’m new to the forum. I have basically a stock Chevelle which I’m just getting started on a complete front and rear disc brake conversion (wilwood) as well as ridetech complete coil over kit and a 9 inch ford rear. My question is has anyone narrowed a 9 inch in order to get a bigger tire package with stock wheel wells, if so what were the dimensions and tire combo.
