Thanks, for letting me join your group. I'm a 72 young guy trying to make up for lost time with my 67 Camaro bought in 1973 to go drag racing. I started about a year ago to transform it into a Pro Tour ride with some Autocross events in mind.
I'm still running the 302DZ from a 69 bought in 1972. I have added a Legend 5 speed with a 9in rear running 370 gears. The suspension is a full Ridetech with 4 link, True Turn link, adjustable coil-overs, and frame connectors. I went with Wilwood brakes 14 in. front, 13 in. rear.
I did not tub the rear quarters, but did flare them to accommodate slicks back in the 70's.
I'm planning to run 18 in rims, front 9 in. backspace 6.5 in., rear 10 in. backspace 5.25 in.
My question is anyone running this combination or close to it, what size tires would you recommend.
