I have given up on receiving the II Muck bulkhead that I ordered and paid for over a year ago that was "in stock" when I ordered it...
So anyway, I am looking for suggestions on other options for a bulkhead to pass the A/C lines through on a 69 camaro. I plan to run the hoses inside the fender with the bulkhead at the far right side of the firewall.

Four rubber grommets.

Every other bulkhead is exactly that, a bulkhead which means 8 more fittings in a place where your really can't get at when they leak.

These clean rings are an option but your hose needs to be the correct diameter.

100% AGREE, grommets is the way to go

Don,

How do these work? It's hard to tell from their little pictures.

If you google it you find some better pics. Interesting pieces.
I appreciate everyone’s input. My dumbass didn’t even think about using grommets. Supposedly my ii much ships today so if so I’ll use it.

Hi Andrew. You drill a hole mount the clean ring with the two threaded parts and then pass the hose through the ring. Sort of a poor man’s iimuch bulkead but four separate pieces..

Is there some sort of o-ring inside that seals against the OD of the hose? Or does the hose fit firmly enough to create its own seal?

The II MUCH Airport is not a bulkhead fitting, it creates a pass through interface without the need for additional fittings. All of those hoses fit through a 2.5” hole in the firewall.

Yes there is a small o-ring, that’s why you have to be careful with your hose diameter.

Fully aware, I have used the airport in the past. I'm not the one who called it a bulkhead and was clarifying that all the other ones operated differently.

I want to update this to share that I have received the II Much bulkhead.

Negatives from this purchase: It took a very long time to come in, dates I was given did not happen and II Much is a bit hard to get ahold of.

Positives: The two times that I did get a hold of them they did offer to refund my money if I wanted. Both times I choose to wait for the product. I know in our present world everyone is waiting on other people so they can get their parts out and not everyone is quick to offer a refund. Product seems to be very nice.

Summary: I will be needing a fuel vent system in the future and will have no concern about buying from II Much, I will order it very early though.

Good review. I too have had the long wait but they have been responsive. The product is nice. In todays world we need to plan our parts purchases way in advance.

You add 8 more connections when you use that style of bulkhead which is increasing chances of a leak. iimuch part adds no additional connections which is the benefit.
