Howdy Y'all!
Have to admit this feels a little like when the teacher asked you to introduce yourself in front of the class, but thankfully I've outgrown being the weird bashful kid. Just like many males I've been into cars & trucks since I got my first hotwheel. Back then they looked like real vehicles, and the wheels looked similar to old school cragars. Maybe that was a successful marketing ploy.
Never joined a forum like this, and frankly I'm just tired of the snarky attitudes on many FB groups. Hopefully this is where the mature-ish folks hang out lol.
Currently building a 52 IH that's been in the family since the early 70's. Like many other projects it's escalated quickly from: get it running & driving safely, to building a frame from scratch, heidts universal mustang II ifs, adjustable coil overs, triangulated 4-link, 9" with 3.89 gears, 315/35/20 rear tires. Partially due to hard to find or unavailable parts, and it's going to handle, brake, & look a heck of a lot cooler!
Now, I need to get off this computer and take advantage of this 94 degree Texas cold front if I want even a remote chance of being able to cruise next summer! I look forward to checking out everyone's projects and sharing & learning!
