Hey guys.

Got a stock subframe 67 camaro with CCP spindles and C6 Z06 brakes with SPC upper double adjustable control arms...and trying to figure out front wheel fitment.

I started with:

18x9
5.25" BS
275/40/18

The tire seemed to tall and it seemed like I was hitting the fenders while turning
I also was making contact with the upper control arm (threaded adjustable style) and ground it down where I could. I added a .25" wheel spacer to get the wheel pushed out and there is still some minor contact

I then went to
18x9
5.25" BS (with .25" spacer)
275/35/18 tire

I don't seem to have any issues with hitting the tire on the fender anymore, but I am still getting some contact with the upper control arm.

I guess my question is:

1. Has anyone successfully ran a 275/40/18 tire on the front of a stock subframe 67-68 camaro?
2. Are there better upper control arms that play nice with a 18" wheel

There are so many different options out there and it's a bit overwhelming.
