A big mean non pro touring machine rumbled its way to my house, and forced its way into my IROC Z's parking space!

Luckily I was able to subdue it, as can be seen by the jackstands,

Could you imagine driving with these front tires, no sway bar, 90/10 shocks, moroso trick front springs, and manual steering? My dad does, smiling the whole time!

On top of that, look whats under the hood!

I presume you were being facetious when you refer to the 55 as being Pro-Tour..I'm sure it'll go, but Pro Tour it ain't..straight line only..or someone will have a scab on their as*

i love the 55 and 56 cars so much more than the 57s. i guess i just got burnt out on the 57s. now all i need is to be able to tell the difference between the 55 and 56 easier. i still get confused.

55 headlights are round, 56 are squared, 55 has an oval grill, 56 is straight across and squared. 56 has sharper fins on the rear quarters.

?????????? 55 has retangular rounded front turn/parking lights (short and wide), the 56 has square front turn/parking lights but same round headlights, I am guessing that is what you mean?
56 tail lights are actually round, but the shape of the 56 tail light housing is somewhat similar to the shape of the 55. The 55 rear lights take up the entire housing. Also, the 56 gas fill is behind the left rear tail light, 55 fuels from side.

Here is a 56 from ebay. Easier to look at then to describe.

So whats it run???

Johnny Blaze
01-09-2006, 08:32 AM
Only got it to the track twice after getting it together. It had a few bugs to work out and was only able to run a 7.71 at 90mph. I was only able to get the converter to hold 2300 before it would push through the lights, but the motor does start making good power til about 4000. The glide and 8" coverter with the brake will take care of that though! It should be a 7 flat car in a short time.

I want to put a brake in my T400, but then it might spit the originial rear end out !!

You must have over a 250*@.050 cam in it, sound fun do you drive it on the street???

Johnny Blaze

Dad drives it on the street. I get to drive it at the track.
