Anybody know someone who might have one that can be bought?

Why do you want one over a real cage? There’s a reason you can’t buy one today. The price point was simply ridiculous for an erector kit style cage. You’re better off paying a fraction of the money for a real cage.

Hey Badazz. You make a good point. I have one of the tiger cages in my daughter’s 68 Camaro. I think the TigerCage makes a very good chassis stiffener…. Yet expensive, it’s a clean install and does a great job at stiffening up the unibody. I run high-back seats with them and it’s a semi-safe way to get a harness in the cars as well. These are daily driven cars and don’t want to need a helmet to drive them.

I'm sure I will have to have someone build me one for my sons 71 Camaro, but I thought it would be worth trying to track one down.

i don't think any one has anything around any more, I was at ridetech about 2 months ago ... there isnt even a bolt left over from that program... to bad it was a great set up...

What makes this think you need a helmet with other bars, but not ride tech?

Have you considered a DSE roll bar? Any cage/roll bar is going to stiffen the chassis. Man the MSRP for a Tiger cage was well over $3k!

hey Badazz… just want to say I respect your knowledge on the second gen Camaro.!

A full cage, with main halo would definitely require a helmet… ridetechs roll-bar setup is mounted well behind the head.

I had a DSE roll bar in a 70 Camaro, and I would have to argue that this did not give you near the chassis strength that the ridetech setup did when you included the door bars…

hey brother, I know the ridetech setup was expensive, not arguing that… but ridetech stopped making it when Brett sold ridetech, not because they weren’t selling them….

The Tiger Cage was a great chassis stiffener and good attachment point for harnesses.

The reason for being discontinued... it wasn't ever a cheap piece for us to build or for the to customer to buy. When the world got crazy a few years ago during Covid, the stainless tubing price tripled, and it wasn't feasible to build any longer. We didn't want to raise the price accordingly as it was already just as expensive as a custom fabricated cage (that could be certified easily). I'd love to have them back as they were great pieces for the typical pro-touring car to be stiffened, they were very clean looking, and could be removed easily. They're out there floating around in garage's I'm sure, hopefully you can find one.

Looks to be validated above, just too expensive. I’d agree the addition of the door bars help just like they would with any other roll bar. .

If it’s what you want, that’s cool. Just know there are other options.

Hey Josh! You were my last hope in tracking one of these down.!.!.!.

Here’s a pic of my boys car I told you I’d send you years ago. It’s about completed. Should be driving here very soon.

I don't know why, but I still have a 2nd Gen Tiger cage with door bars if anyone wants it. It's out and ready to go to someone else.

I have been getting some PMs about pricing. There was a deal made at $3,500 and I was happy with that number and would like to get that. I would also like to get it gone, so make an offer. Don't be dumb. Plan on ~$500 shipping depending on location.
