1969 Camaro DSE Mini Tub / Shock Relocate

Hello, I have a 1969 Camaro that I am installing a new trunk pan along with the DSE mini tub kit. I have purchased the upper shock brace that goes into the trunk to replace the mounts. I know I should angle it to match the stock shock towers as per the instructions. My question is can I install it the same as it would be installed with the Quadralink suspension and allow the shocks to be behind the axle? I have Cal-Tracs installed. I want to install the brace this way in the event I decide to upgrade in the future.
