I had to sell our 67 Camaro back in 2004. I figured I would buy another project in a few years when things got better. Things getting better took a long time and wow these cars are expensive now. Even the basket cases.

Anyways, we found this gem of a project last week and although it looks rough, it's really in pretty good shape.

The interior isn't missing much. Should be good enough for a while.

I'm not sure how carried away we will get under the hood.

The plan is to build a fun commuter to get me back and forth between San Diego and Phoenix. Ya Ya I should get a Honda for such activities but life is too short to drive a boring vehicle.

Let the fun begin...

Definitely some sort of LS based engine.

That's pretty much the plan. I keep forgetting about the A/C. I better do some research on that too. Is Vintage Air still the choice for aftermarket A/C?

Yes, I have one, not installed, you could even modernize a factory unit, pretty sure there's still couple of other companies also,

Ah the joys of buying old cars that haven't been on the road since 1987. The yahoos before us actually sand blasted a lot of the car. There is sand all over the place. They at least used duct tape to cover things. LOL

Mounting tabs for the headlight buckets, non RS.

You might want to access or print off an assembly manual for your restoration.

So far so good. Haven't found any big surprises so that's nice.
