Optima battery yellow top - stock mounting in 68 camaro

Any pics out there of mounting a yellow top 34/78 battery in a stock battery tray in 68 Camaro? Can’t get it to sit properly - trying to use supplied red “puck” but still no good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Here are some pics - using the red attachment in the back of the battery to grab the metal clip on the battery tray - but the "puck" in the front - is not close enough to the battery - nor does it sit on the bottom ledge of the battery.

Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.200507200508200509

The battery itself appears to fit in the tray. If it's just the front puck that's not working then I would just modify the puck with a hacksaw and some sandpaper a little at a time until it fits the shape of the metal tray.

Thanks - I had tried turning the puck over / upside down - to bring the longer side lower / and still not sitting right. If have to - last resort will try to modify - but should not have to for a $300 battery. Waiting on Optima to get back to me - but interested to see what others have experienced in this situation.

Make your own "puck". Looks pretty simple to me.

So Optima said to do one of 2 things - to either try and swap from this 34/78 to the 75/25 battery group - (even though they are both listed to fit application) or to self-modify the puck. Guess I am going to try to modify the puck this weekend.
