Trying to get it moving for my daughter’s graduation. It has been a long time coming.
LS1, 4l80e, C4 suspension on a Wayne Due frame, Terminator X-Max, American Autowire the car, new trunk pan and driver side floor pan as well. Vintage Air front runner, AFCO front coil overs, ridetech on the rear. Tank’s inc tank, new fuel and brake lines being held by earl’s aluminum clamps. True-cool trans cooler, C&R radiator with power steering and oil cooler. Dual fans (Not sure how I’m wiring them) relocated Optima battery to the trunk, Borla Pro xs mufflers behind texas ( something ) headers. Sparco seats, drive by wire corvette pedal. Not sure on paint or to wrap it. What ever I can source the cheapest, that’s the way I will go. Eventually a nice paint job. The car had been stolen in 1988 when I was in high school. Put it back together with an old engine. Decided to try to get it painted but the painter took of with my money and left my car in a garage. It was an ordeal to get the car back. It sat in my garage for years. Had a stroke last year caused by a heart tumor which was excised through open heart surgery. Coming out of it put a lot of things in perspective. Out of many was the thought that if something was to happen to me, I could not leave a pile of metal for my girls to rummage through. I could not even make sense of all the parts, I could not imagine them. So here we are. Trying to put it together after many years collecting dust. Been in this forum for a longtime hope to be here a lot longer.
