So I’ve made a lot of progress, but really haven’t documented any of it. So here it goes. Bought this car from a good friend about 3 years ago. I helped with the original build almost 20 years ago. So you could say I have some history with it.
Came to me with a Pontiac 400 and Th-2004-R trans. I went through everything, put Sniper EFI on it, and drove it for a few years. I finally got the bug to give it the Powertrain it deserves, so this is how it’s gone over the last few months.
Out with the old…

Engine bay all painted. We didn’t want to use a spray gun, as this is being done in my one car garage and I have an HOA to deal with. So we had the local auto paint store mix up some 2K satin black in some rattle cans. I’m happy with how it turned out.

Outstanding. My ‘68 has a 400 with a 200-4r, that T56 is going to be a blast. Impressed with the work in the one car garage.

Engine compartment looking clean!
I noticed the fender wells aren't full of holes like the Camaro wheel wells are, smooth, very cool, engine bay and body colors are very nice!
67/8 and even 69 Firebirds are some of my favorites, I bought and sold plenty of Camaro's but not the birds,
Waiting on the next group of pictures,
