I was going to do black on mine just to "frame" the motor with the inner fenders(black) and the black firewall, but after spending so much time and money on smoothing the firewall and cleaning it up, I went with body color to show it off as well.

If you want a more modern look then my vote is body color..

If you want a more OEM and classic look then there is nothing wrong with black, However if I was doing black it would be more of a satin black to make cleaning easier.

I vote for body color if that is what you are going for. Steve, I have seen your car before and it is awesome! Jagarang, yours is looking very nice as well! I love that blue! Very Beautiful cars!

Steve, when are we gonna see some pics of the new project? I keep checking your website but dont see anything?

It's just a thought, but many race cars use white or gray for frames/firewalls. It's easier to see welding cracks and helps with visibility when working on it.
