Hi, I want to do stainless tubing instead of radiator hoses. On the top hose i will just have a rubber coupling on the radiator and neck, i will need a "S" to go from the thermo neck to the radiator, I want to do it in Stainless, but don't know where to find someone with a mandrel bender or where to get the tubing for a decent price. Also where can i get nice couplings, i have seen some Gates hoses that were couplings, they weren't normal rubber, they looked "wrapped" on the outside and were very tough. thanks!
also what size tubing do i need, probabl somewhere around 1 1/2-2"s

Here are some killer deals for ya. You will have to view sellers other items. I ordered all Prodigys exhaust tubing, X pipe, brake line, fuel line from these guys. Cannot beat the prices. the 45 / 180 mandrel tubing is a great deal. 3" inch exhaust tubing for $6, a deal

Here's some sweet clamps (http://pi-thon.com/) for you. Probably not too cheap but these are good looking, reusable, hi temp, etc. Here's a place that does custom work and sells tubing: http://www.boyceindustries.com/. Some more http://www.burnsstainless.com/, http://www.spdexhaust.com/index.html, and http://www.stainlessworks.net/.

You can get tubing bent at most fab shops that build tube frames for race cars. Not sure where you are but in Southern California they are super easy to find. If you have a design I might be able to find a place that can do it for you and give you their contact information.

OK..this should establish my "scrounge" credentials.. :rotfl:

I have used stainless U-bends chopped from sink drains to make radiator pipes like this before. They are about 1.5" diameter and cheap.
