Hello all,
I am at that point where we are finishing up a long term build and I need wheels and tires. The AFX spindle and brake combo add some challenges when looking to pick a wheel. I have decided on an 18 inch wheel with an 8 or 9 inch wide wheel in the front and 10 inch wide in back.
I have done my homework and looked through the internet and site but havent found the right wheel combo yet. I think the Rocket Attack wheel would fit the AFX spindle set up but I would like to see someone who is already running it on their car.
Any suggestions or links I can follow to help me narrow down my decision?

You need to tell us the brake combo , a ZR1 caliper is huge vs a base model vette , there's also differences from C5,C6 and C7

I have factory style 2” drop tall spindles, but I believe the AFX spindles keep the same track width, so clearances should be the same (double check your spindle). I’m running Rocket Attack 18x10 (6” BS) front and 18x11 (6” BS) rear with Wilwood 12.88 rotors/four piston Superlite in the rear and have plenty of room.
Love the Rocket Attack.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the heads up on the Rocket Attack wheels. I just ordered an 18x10 (5"BS) for the rear and an 18x9 (5"BS) for the front based on a suggestion from Rocket Racing. The AFX spindle does keep the same track width but the dimensions of the C5/C6 brake rotors and calipers were my biggest concern. I sent Rocket Racing the brake rotor/caliper dimensions and they confirmed it would fit. I ordered one of each wheel size to check for clearance so I still have time to make adjustments before I make the final purchase and install tires.
Do you have a factory length rear end? Do you have inner fenders installed in the wheel well? What size tire are you running on the front and back?
I would like to run the biggest wheel tire possible but also don't want to cringe every time the suspension goes through its full range of travel or I put passengers in the back.

The Rocket Attack’s have pretty good clearance for an 18” wheel. Good call making a test run, I did the same thing.
I’m running BFG Rival’s, 275/35 front and 315/30 rear.
When I put them on, I had the factory 10 bolt rear end and had to roll the rear fender lip, but was able to street drive it for a season. I now have a custom built Ford 9” that is 1/4” shorter on each side. And yes, I’m running the factory front inner fenders.
