Hydroboost rebuild.

Morning all. Im hoping that I have the right place. This is my Hydroboost question. Im rebuilding it but according to all the diagrams that I have found it shows two different models. One that has a tiny ball bearing and a tiny rod that goes to the two-function valve/dump valve and the other just has the yellow two way plug and dump valve. My problem is that if I just slap it in it will go boom and I will have to buy a new one. How do I identify the housing?
