Well, Here it is my first classic car! I have had newer muscle cars my last being a C6 Z06 but never something 52 years old. I am finally in a position where I can afford to drive one instead of drooling over them at car shows. Anyways, I came across a great deal and drove out to pick it up. The car underwent a frame off restoration around 2017. I'm told every piece of metal, every nut and bolt was brand new. He said to get the body work done was about a 3 year process, he wasn't expecting to run into so much rust so he ended up replacing every body panel including the roof. He says he has spent around 125k on the car.

He didn't do great at explaining all the details so if you guys could help me with explaining anything in the pics worth mentioning let me know, I know there are lots of parts he didn't tell me about that the car has, but I have never had one so I don't quite know what I'm looking at yet. For example, there is extensive fab work on the front end with an entire new looking frame section, there is tubular bar that runs under the car that I have no idea what it is, He remembers it was a Tremec Tranny, but doesn't remember which one, and the engine sounds lumpy like a light cam is in there but I don't remember him mentioning. He wasn't withholding at all, very honest and has sent all the pics of getting built, just an old guy who built a badass car and never cared to save every receipt and document every modification so now I have to kind of piece together what he built. Any help is appreciated.
Here's what I do know;
LS1
Tremec 5 speed, no idea which one yet
TCI tubular suspension
TCI 3 link rear, QA1 coilovers,
12" Wilwood Calipers
Mustang 2 rand and pinion
Currie 9" 3.90 gears
Mini tubbed
Everything under the car is either body-color painted or chrome
Power front and rear windows
Sound deadening throughout
Ididit tilt column
Thunder road dash with Autometer gauges
Vintage A/C and heat
Custom built headers, Edelbrock FI system

The interior is very red as my wife says. He had a local upholstery guy do the entire interior, carpet, all seats, console, headliner.. the colors make it look a little dated but everything is brand new and really well done. I would like a more modern looking interior, suede inserts, different more modern patterns in the seats, touch screen radio, that kind of thing. I just think the interior is what would set this car onto the next level...Well, that and a Turbo

Apologies for the off-center photos, don't really know how to fix

I just bought a car with a Tremec 5spd I am trying to identify.
Your Nova looks like a really stout build!

Looks like a nice build.
In the engine pic I wonder what the black and white cylinder next to the alternator is? Power steering reservior? Looks like it has MSD coil packs.
Really too bad the owner didn't save the receipts. Maybe the shop that built it would have them or some of them?
Might make sense to to do a chassis dyno tune just to check the tune.
They did nice job of hiding the wiring and AC lines.
I would drive it for a summer and see what you like and don't like. Then make changes as you see fit.
I always save all the receipts. I never add them up because that is too scary. LOL.
Good luck with the car.

I love that Silver/Gray color on that body style.
Have you seen Joe Rogan’s Nova?
I saw it in person at SEMA and it’s beautiful.

Rogan's Nova was done by Steve Stroppe, that's why it's so nice. I haven't seen Stroppe build anything that isn't off the charts. He is a master of deception.

I am told there is a tag on the right side of the transmission, if you call Tremec and read them the info on the tag they can tell you the transmission and how it was built. Will keep you updated when I can get that done

I was able to get it up in the air last week, what an incredible amount of work under the car. After inspecting I believe it to be a complete TCI chassis. TCI pro touring IFS and Torque Arm 3 link rear, all body color painted or chromed. X factor crossmember, full machined/billet accessory drive, and I found a tablet that connects to the Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 for full tuning and engine monitoring

Looks good.

At ride height I would take look at the panhard rod and the right hand side exhaust clearance.

Good catch on the exhaust! After looking closer at the pics I can see that something needs to be adjusted there. That might be the slight and occasional clunking I hear from the rear of the vehicle. That's exactly why I wanted to post pics, and that is extremely helpful, thank you!

You could try adjusting the coil over up a bit. Maybe an adjust to the dampening? Worse case minor mods to the right to the exhaust pipe.

Love the color combo and everything else about this car.
