after running into j.schwartz at elkhart lake, i
took several shots [hundreds actually on a canon-10D]
of the CTS-VRs in and out of the pits and on the
track..

pop.hotrodding has an article on the Katech-tuned
CTS-V_Kseries.. with a modded 6.5L/396ci [if im not mistaken]
making as much power as the LPE CTS-V/427ci... the car
looks fantastic.. and is a close representation of
the race cars.. [which are vicious in my opinion]..

the cost of one of these beastly machines, is 40k on
top of the est.50k of the CTS-V.. a 90k 500+hp sedan..

my question is.. is it worth it to you.. ?

i think they mention that its a turnkey based modification
at that level.. and theres probably not much you couldnt
get on it.. ..

i forgot to mention the article gripes partially about the
limited tire sizing on the vehicle.. that being 255s and
275s.. which is the largest w/o major mods.. but for
90k.. wouldnt you want.. say.. 315s on the back?..
i dunno.. i havent seen the rear setup to make a
valid statement toward cost of modification.. but..
it just seems out of range for a guy like me..

ps.. hey jeff .. got any shots of the caddy's new block????

also.. if anyone has webspace.. im willing to upload
several hundred extremely large images of the elkhart
lake race.. [two days worth of 6.3MP images] ...
and PIRELLI GIRLS! heheheheh :seizure:
