Marlan Davis Passed away this weekend.
Marlan was the Tech Editor for Hot Rod and wrote the Q & A "Pit Stop". Marlan was with the magazine for more than 40 years. Marlan was the perfect person to write the Q &A for Hot Rod as he would research any question to the nth degree. He had a truly amazing memory of part numbers and automotive history. Marlan's photographic skills were among the absolute best. He took great pride in how a picture should look in the magazine. He would spend hours getting the background and lighting correct for a photo shoot. He would research the best software to filter his pictures and was never satisfied with "good enough". To all that knew him he was a great friend and a true gentleman. Life is short: Never Lift. Rest in Peace my friend.
