Hello

i Have a 69 camaro

I’ve searched for the AC line routing/connections, but everything I find is for every other car except a first Gen.
this is my first AC install, I’m usually cutting it all out.

i have the lines pulled into the passenger compartment
a -6 and a -10
where do I connect them?
One has to go to the compressor and one has to go to the hard lines under the radiator support

Ummm

-6 between R/D and TXV
-10 between evap and suction port of the compressor

hardline under the rad support is a bit of a vague description

whats R/D and TxV?

theres 2 connections on the compressor

the condenser has 2 fittings that run to and out of a canister near the condenser
then there are 2 hard line outlets that end under the core support.

and obviously 2 connections on the under dash unit.
one line is a -10 and that has to go to the compressor.
the other line out of the dash unit is -6. That has to go to the condenser? Then from there back to the compressor?

Receiver/Drier
Expansion valve which is on the evaporator.

Did you not get instructions with your kit? Hose routing is detailed there. If you don’t have the instructions you can download them on the Vintage Air website. Please do it…

That’s a different kit than mine.

The instructions are good but suck at the same time.
I ran my lines in the car. But the introductions dont tell you which end to run in the car and which end in the engine bay. A simple diagram like you posted for my kit would have been extremely helpful.
I see vintage air sponsors this forum

How bout you help me out??

TXV means expansion valve.

Post up a pic of your installation and I will try to explain where the hoses etc connect.
