If you have a Kris Horton rendering of your car and you don't mind me using it for a calendar(personal use) please post a decent size picture of it. I want to print them and paste them over a bland and otherwise worthless calendar for this year.

Thanks
Kevin

The topic's been discussed before and we always agree that it's a good idea, but we've never found a good way to do it (who gets on the calendar, how much they'll cost, how much to charge, etc.)

I'm still interested in doing something like this. Perhaps with some generic cars? That way there's no real debate over whose car gets on the calendar or what I charge.

I might be overthinking it... :hmm: But I know I still wanna do something like this.

Pretty easy to have done Kris. I have a friend that put together a Mt. Biking Calendar. If you are interested, PM me your email addy and I will put the two of you in contact.

Sounds like a good idea, how about an 80 Camaro instead of all those 1st-gens?

Here's an idea Kris: Rather than using drawings that you have been comissioned to do, whip up a dozen drawings of what you would like to see built. Don't limit yourself to just pro-touring cars. A wide variety of performance and custom cars and trucks would give the calender more market appeal. In your position, you must get more than enough ideas to keep you awake at nights. I'd bet at least one of them would get built buy someone.

Ken,

That's exactly what I had in mind. I've done one or two renderings before of cars that I'd like to build or see built that weren't comissioned by anyone.

Let me look through my collection and start working on a list. I can maybe post some of the renderings up and have people vote on the content.

Kris, there is a new year every 365 days, I would not worry about who got in which month. Sooner or later, everyone that wanted in, would be there. Personally, I would buy one every year, so I would want different cars every month. That being the case, I would not really care who was on a particular month or even year.
Dang it, get busy. :poke: Where have I heard this before....... :naughty:
