Hi,I have a 67 Camaro.
I installed control arms from Global West (CTA 79L), but unlike the stock LCA, or other manufacturers, they don't have any steering stop.
So the steering angle has increased and the tires rub.

What would you suggest to add steering stop? drilling and taping the tube, or welding a nut? Or should I modify the steering knuckle? (this one is stock)
Any idea on the least dangerous modification?

Thanks in advance
Guillaume

Do you have a rack and pinion if so they sell plastic stops you can put in the rack.

Hello, No, I don't have a rack and pinion, a simple steering box from an Iroc.
Some suspension arm manufacturers include the stops on their LCA, like speedtech, DSE, Hotchkiss, but not Global-West.

How did you solve this issue for these with Global west lower arms?

I called them and asked them why and the guy said because the box has stops. I was like okay!

I have no experience with global west, but I would reach out to their tech support, I’m sure they will point you in the right direction. Good luck!
