17x11 18x11 best backspace?

Whats the best backspacing to run a 17 or 18x11 on a 3rd gen nova? Been searching a lot cant find much. Axle will be cut custom to fit any wheel I want so that isnt an issue.

Unfortunately without knowing either the back spacing OR the rear end width it's impossible to give a reasonable answer, it's like trying to answer the equation X=X what is X ?
The other thing is why change the rear end width from stock?

You're right. I don't think you can get an 11" wide wheel in there without a mini tub a matter what the backspace is.

Because Im getting a new Ford 9" so it can be narrowed if I want. I ended up ordering with a 6 inch BS. Hopefully it looks good. Getting minitubs to fit them
