A buddy of mine should here in a bit. Should be like twins on most other things with decent engine bay space.

Yes it runs great. I'm just now getting the brakes squared away, going to a dyno challenge this Sat. I'll let you know how I do. Next it's on to the rear suspension and the wheels/tires.

WHISTLER--->
If you could , can you post some more pics of your setup ? Such as headers, intercooler, etc.

I am planing on a single turbo setup down the road on my 55 , and I think something similar to yours would be pretty trick...

The car looks great!

Who made the headers? What kind of turbo are you running? How big is the exhaust down pipe? How did you mount the turbo upfront?

That is one hot ride!

I'll post up some more after I neaten things up a bit and get the pipes polished. I built this whole thing minus the intercooler over two years ago, then abandoned it.. so everything got kind of dusty and dull.

I built everything myself. The headers, double slip merge collectors and crossover are all 321, and the 5" downpipe is 304SS. Cost on the headers? I think I have about 2K in the collectors, flanges and tubing for the headers, plus I forget how many hours labor... It's been a while. The turbo is a PT80 with a GT exhaust wheel. It's supported by a bracket to the frame.

As far as HP, it could probably make 8 or 900 to the wheels if I pushed it, mabye more. I have no reason to turn it up that high., except for bragging rights. I'll keep it low for now, at least until I get to the back of the car. It's got the original 12 bolt in it with stock axles and posi unit. I put Richmond 3.55s in it back in 1997 along with all new bearings and seals, but those axles are doomed. They've been through about half dozen 10.60 runs and numerous 11 sec. runs with the old turbo SBC engine that this current setup replaced.
