I’m going to do some welding on my exhaust, do I need to disconnect the battery if I’m using a mig? I have a Holley Sniper EFI

I would just to be safe. I’d do it on any car.

It is far more important to get your ground clamp as close to your work as possible, but it never hurts to disconnect the battery.

I’ve witnessed computers getting burned out from mig welding. I don’t know if the Sniper could take but I’ll play it safe and disconnect it
