1970 Mercury Cougar for sale, owned since 1998, was originally a 351 C, automatic car.
Single turbocharged
Master Power t70 turbo with .68 exhaust housing, 44 mm Xs power wastegate @ 9psi, GFB blowoff valve. 3 inch downpipe with cutout to dual 2 ½ and Magna flow style (Jones Max Flow)mufflers turned down behind rear tires, very quiet. Big front mount intercooler with 3inch piping to the Extreme Velocity bonnet.
Made 430hp/488 torque to the ground with smaller turbo and a blowthrough carburetor on a Dyno jet. Ran a 12.9@ 115mph spinning on street tires.

’89 Ford 5.0 roller 302, stock bottom end with factory forged pistons. 9:1
Steeda no.18 cam with 1.7 Cobra roller rocker arms.
CNC Powerheads e7te flows similar to Edelbrock Performer, cnc ports. Has head studs.
Edelbrock Torquer intake manifold, also comes with Victor JR and Performer rpm intake manifolds.

FiTech Power adder 600 fuel injection, controls timing, fuel and electric fans.
Complete autometer gauge cluster, pillar pod.
Car was rewired with an after market harness kit.
Msd distributor and 6al ignition box.
130 amp 1 wire alternator.
Big dual electric fans, 4 row radiator.
Trunk mount battery.

Tremec 3550 5 speed with Hays clutch.
Ford 9 inch with 3.25 trac loc, 28 spline.
Unisteer manual rack and pinion
620 front springs, 1 inch Shelby drop and roller spring perches. 1 inch front sway bar, 5 leaf rear springs with kyb shocks.
Cobra r 17x9 wheels. 255/40/17 front, 315/35/17 rear. Sumitomo lots of tread.
Diy subframe connectors.
Factory front power disc. Converted to 70 front drum spindles to allow the 13” front Cobra brakes.

Tanks 22 gallon fuel tank with 340lph in tank pump, complete ptfe Teflon fuel lines feed and return.

All it really needs is body work and paint. Was a CA car but sat outside for 1 year before moving. Needs body rust repair. I filled in most side markers and shaved the drip rails. The car runs and drives but I never got the the Fitech tuned to its full potential. I recommend towing it home. I had big plans for the car but it’s no longer a priority since the family can not share in the enjoyment.

I am asking $15,000 for a 1 of a kind car.
