Waterbased panel wipe

A little advice from the paint experts here please. I was told by my painter that I should prep my parts with this waterborne panel wipe and then follow up with the standard wax and grease remover. This product is new to me so I was wondering what the experts have to say about it. I am using a solvent-based basecoat and clear.

I use SPI water base wax and grease remover on everything except bare metal and fresh basecoat. It’s alcohol based.

I pretty much only use solvent based wax and grease remover on bare metal.

Don, do you think it is necessary to use both on primed surfaces prior to paint?

I think it depends on the history of the panel. I generally only use the waterborne. Maybe better to listen to your painter than me.
