Hello,

I an running a Ricks tank to an LS2 engine. I an running 8an to the motor and 6 an return. I trying to make a parts list from Summit for braided line, but I not sure which fuel filter. I was going to come out of the tank with a 90 degree fitting, then the fuel filter, and braided line up the fuel rail. Most say carburated under the application but good up to 75 psi. What micron is good for FI (100, 85, 35, 10)?

Thanks.

Phillip

How are you regulating the fuel pressure?

The GM fuel filter for a later (99+) 'vette is also a pressure regulator (58psi). Not sure what micron it is though. It's only like 40 bucks if memory serves.

Your right. It is an LS2 engine, but the computer, harness, and fuel rail is going to be LS1.

I like to run a 100 micron on the pump inlet and a 10 micron after the pump. The 100 micron keeps stuff that can damage the pump out of the pump and the 10 micron keeps stuff that can damage the injectors out of the injectors.

I like the SX and Aeromotive cartridge filters. They're practically the same housings and use the same elements. The 100 micron element is pleated stainless and the 10 micron is a paper filter.

Who made the fuel filter? Will it work on an 8AN line?

You Can Buy An Aeromotive One ...the Stainless Steel Element Is Before The Pump ...but If You Have An Internal Pump Then You Wont Be Needing A Pre Filter ...and Then You Can Get The One With The Paper Element ....its Like 89.00 At Summit

I don't know if this helps you, but I am running a standard gm EFI filter on my LT1 (94-97 F-body one) and just ran it inline. I am using a Rock valley tank with the intank pump . Just used the 6AN to 16mm oring adapters to plumb it in to the system. Might be able to find a 8AN to 16mm adapter for it.
