Whatcha think?
:bananna2:
Would like to give a HUGE thanks to both Mark and Katz of Lateral Dynamics for driving 90 miles to my house to help me haul Penny to her new temp home where she will be getting a facial and "some work done"
He wouldn't even let me pay for gas, I tell my wife all the time that the best people in the world are car people and things like this just prove me right. Thanks Guys..
Now I just need to find some good mud tires..

Ha! My 4x4 has your 4x4 beat and my motor is in it! The owner said to me when I was buying it "I put some new springs in her to jack her up nice!" Great... thanks a lot.

Steve I have some 35" mud terrain tires you can borrow if you need them. The optimistic way to look at your lifted rig is that now you wont need to jack it up to do an oil change. :lmao:
Your car still looks good but as you know it would look a lot better lower. What are you going to do for a final stance?

Newer shop that Mark reccomended called Best in Show Coachworks.. I like the guys there the minute I met them. Very talented from what I saw around the shop and their shop was orderly (a good sign). Plus they are less $$$ than HRCS. Pay attention to the Mopar in the background, that is going to be one butt kicking ride when done and it belongs to a board member :)
One more pic of the car at sunset.. dang I love this color..

You brought my car 400 miles.. I would have MADE you take gas money.. :)
See previous post for shop info.. they are in Escondido, CA

The stance will be close to what it was. It looked good and still had enough ground clearance for iffy roads. I might take you up on the tires ;)

There's a Prowler for sale at the local Chrysler dealership in their "used" car lot that has that color on it. The color doesn't look anything like the one that's on your car. Yours looks a hell of a lot better. I even asked one of the salesman about it and he confirmed it was Prowler Orange. The car at the dealership has a more duller/dirtier look to it. Yours has a nice golden hue and really pops in the sunlight. Are you sure the guy that sprayed that car didn't modify the stock color a bit?

Pretty sure.. I got a scratch on the front lower valance and used a can of spray Plymouth touch up paint to temp fix it.. was pretty close.
The guy at my new paint shop said that when you shoot a car in an OEM color but use high quality paint and color sand it that the finished result can look MUCH different than the same OEM paint job.
The second pic I posted was at sunset which is why it looks so rich. If I take a pic on a cloudy day the color looks like an old penny

My 69 in WRX blue looked MUCH better than my Subaru WRX.. I guess we will find out for sure when they go to match the paint.. lol
Looks familiar...awesome color!

Jim, you should have just said that is for weight transfer, and you were launching it. I just knew when I opened this thread you would have something to say if you got online.
My vote is still with you, you win, even with Steve's engine missing, you still win..... :lmao:
Oh, Vince you beat me to the question too about the shop, I am sure you noticed that old Chrysler product too.......
Steve, dare I ask? Care to explain "some work"? lol

does "some work" involve a 3 link?

Nope, Penny has a decent 4-link and Lateral Dynamics is gonna help me get the most I can from it. Later down the line, after we get lots of test data, I was thinking of trying the 3-link. It would be a good guage of any improvement it would give. Plus I will need a year at least to save up :)
The work being done at the shop Penny is currently at involves some firewall and engine bay beautification. After all, you can look good AND hit the track.. lol

Yes, that picture was taken at the event we had here in June. Sorry, but his user name escapes me at the moment. I will think of it shortly though and pm you, unless someone else post up.
I don't remember his user name either. It is a very nice car with an LS1 w/ 6 speed and late model Camaro interior. Look for more pics of it in the Pigeon Forge event forum.

My ears don't pop but I need a set of running boards for it.
Seriously though, I plan on dropping it 2-3 inches as soon as I have the free cash. Right now the go-fast parts are on top of the list before the look-pretty parts.
