Ok, so it isn't news. But the '69 Camaro I purchased recently had stock rally wheels with (hopefully reproduction) bias ply redline tires. The car was frightening to drive.
I installed a set of 17" Dunlop SP 9000 Sports, and now its only midly unnerving to drive.
Hopefully the DSE600 steering box will crispen things up. The main problem right now is the car has no on-center feel and a lot of slop at center, so I hope the box is the main culprit.
