Hello. I've been a lurker on this site for some time. I thought I might as well introduce myself. While I enjoy the pro-tour look and attitude I doubt my car qualifies as one. When I built my car we were calling it "resto-modding".

Here's a link for some photos.

The car has had a lot of modifications but I've tried to keep the stock appearance on the exterior. It's a fun ride and has run 12.63 in the quarter mile.

I hope you like it.

Thanks for the welcome.

Like I said, it doesn't exactly fit the bill of pro-touring but it's what we were doing back in the 90's when I built it.

It does have:
Polygraphite bushings all around
Howe dual piston aluminium front calipers
WS6 rear disc brakes
Hawk pads all around
Herb Adams adjustable shocks
Welded in CE subframe connectors
Traction bars that I built (basically adjustable setup like Cal-Tracs)
Stock sway bars all around and stock springs

That's it for suspension.

Engine is 462ci making about 425hp and 500+ ft. lbs. of torque.

If you have any questions on the rest of it, ask and I'll try to answer.

Thanks. It's a weekend warrior for the most part. More when the weather is good. It does make 2-3 trips to the drag strip per year.

I had intended to try out a road course with a group that I belong to this year. That's probably not going to happen since this year's meet is so far away (Indiana) and I'm planning on making it to the Tri-Power Nationals meet for Pontiacs this year in Norwalk. I can't make two long trips like that in one year.

We have an SCCA chapter here that has offered to allow our car club to come out and learn how to autocross. I might have to take them up on that just to see what this heavy old pig can do.

79TA, you think anyone over here will listen to the two of us? I know they don't over on TA Country. :)

Hey, if Bryan Blocker from Blocker's Performance calls you for some A arms, I sent him.

Dropit, thanks for the welcome.
