Cheers! Pro-Touring.com is old enough to drink!

21 years ago yesterday (3/10/2021) I started Pro-Touring.com

There are so many people to thank for making it happen I don’t know where to begin. If you are a moderator, member, advertiser, server guy, spouse or anyone that has had anything to do with the site I thank you. It’s been a lot of fun and it looks like it’s going to be a lot more fun soon.

I’m interested in hearing from you. Have you enjoyed the build style and the people involved in it? I do love the cars and what everyone is doing with them. For me the real joy is the people that I get to meet. I have made life long friends and met many people from all over the world that it makes it all so worth it.

Thanks again to everyone and with any luck I will see you at an event soon.

I like it. This forum helps people develop their personal vision for their car, ultimately making it a unique vehicle that's miles ahead of stock in terms of appearance and, more importantly, capability. Other sites get you a twinkie-mobile, where the idea of custom is oversize wheels, torched springs and a huge wing. What I like most about the folks here is nobody is ridiculed for daring to be different, instead people will offer advice on how to make different happen. I hope this aspect of the site never changes.

Uh, isn't your sign up date on the forum almost the same as mine? LOL!

I have not been on forums much in the past several years. I just got through reading the 20 year anniversary posts. My sign up date was 5/9/2002 and knowledge gained and friends made here have stood the test of time. Built my 67 Camaro with a lot of of input and research done here.

Though I no longer have a pro touring car in the classic sense, I’m still an enthusiast. I need to get back in the habit of checking in here every day or two.

Congratulations Larry!
Sorry I missed the party. It has been a long time since I have been here and the place still looks good. Who would have thought it would still be going ?
