I bought a used set of Global west upper and lower control arms setup for coil overs for my 73 Camaro. When I tried to install the lower control arms the stock bolt diameter is too large to fit through the Delalum bushing. If I were to use a bolt that fits through the bushing it is too small for the frame holes and would allow the arm to move around in the frame mounts. I am curious if anyone knows what the remedy to this problem is. I tried calling GW but they are closed for the evening. If you have any idea please let me know.

Thanks
Dave

I believe you are missing the derline sleeve!

This is the LCA that I have. It has all of the parts in the picture. Am I missing something else?

OK, sorry I was thinking about the aluminium body bushings w/the derline sleeve, but anyway if you have everything what size is the bolt needed , first gen use a 1/2" bolt 2nd gen use 9/16" bolt

sometime in mid-73 they changed bolt and bushing sizes you have the early-sized 70-73 control arm from gw and the later-sized 73-? frame mount and bolt. check with gw and see if they can retrofit or sell you the right bushings. tell them the size of your through bolt and the stock control arm bushing sizes.they changed again sometime in the mid 70's. the uppers are the same 70-81

Thanks for the help guys. I called and ordered the correct sleeves today from GW. The arms had the 1/2" sleeves and I needed the 9/16" like you said.

Thanks
