Blending bowls and found a hole!! How to fix?

I was blending my bowls today and one of the head bolt holes protrudes through the bowl and when i hit it it opened up a little more.
What can be done with this? Can i sleeve the bolt hole with a brass tube and epoxy it in or is this normal. It seems the bolt holes are drilled way over sized.

I'm thinking that the lack of responses would be caused by the lack of folks with first-hand knowledge of the problem.

I've not run into this. I'd think that you'd need to sleeve the head bolt hole with something, lest you end up with a vacuum leak past the head bolt (or at least the possibility of one) - I don't know that brass is the right thing though; what kinds of heat levels would your heads see and how well does brass hold up to those sorts of heat?

Or was it a matter of the head bolt always entering the bowl as cast, and now it's just a bigger hole? In that case, I guess a sleeve wouldn't be required, since it wouldn't ever have been sealed.

Yeah, you can sleeve it- but I'd sonic check the rest of the head. Who knows where else you might have gone thin on it...

It's not that uncommon of a problem to have holes in aluminum heads. As was stated you can sleve the hole, or if it's a water jacket have it welded up. Nothing to worry too much over.

I found that my local Hobby shop has 15/32 thin wall brass tubbing that fits the hole perfect It holds up to soldering and I dont think the intake side gets hotter than that. Also I got some Moroso A&B to add to it.

The thing Is I didnt take much off any where thats why i was suprised when i broke through. But the hole was drilled sort of off. meaning like it was drilled in 2 steps one from the top and one from the bottom and they didnt meet in the center correctly.
