No car stuff, but my kids pooled their resources and bought dear old Dad (that would be me) a new 19" LCD monitor. :woot: . Now I can see what I'm looking at. Spent most of Boxing Day going through all of my pictures and videos. :bananna2: . This thing rocks!

ahhhh thus the question about the turbo/supers eh? :naughty:

I was good this year. I got a pair of work gloves from Jegs and one of those 10 dollar box cutters from the Big Orange Box. I very specifically told my wife to get me NOTHING. I secretly wanted this to be a Christmas for her. LOL she couldn't not do it.

I get parts all year long (Hotchkis front Sway and rear leafs and Global West subframe connectors and body bushings showed up a few days before Christmas) and she never seems to buy anything for herself. I took a hoard of cash from the car fund and went on a nice shopping spree for her. I bought her all kinds of expensive clothes and some other stuff. She was a happy little camper and I earned a few bonus points for when I want to buy my engine  :hammer: Possibly this week.

I didnt get anything for the Camaro, but for cars in general... The G-Tech RR... should be a fun new toy to play with at autocrosses, hopefully i can learn a thing or two with it too.

2 Pairs of Mechanix gloves and a $20 card to autozone that will probably buy a cheap mufffler for the truck, it finally stopped sounding good with the extra sound of power and just went toward calling out the db meter of the law. Sure sounded good for awhile.

I got some good Craftsman tools. I also got the usual assortment of clothes, not car-related but any $$$ I'd have to use for new clothes can now be directed towards parts. Nice!

Equus "performance". Cheap compared to the Autometers I priced.

Cool, thanks! I like how the tach rests at "6" o'clock. I wish some of the other gauge manufacturers would make gauges like that as well.

0 is actually at about 5 o'clock, which will take some getting used to, but I like em. I was contemplating putting the tach in so that 6000 would be at 12 o'clock since there's no shift light. Their only tach with a shift light, etc is a 5" that can't be mounted in-dash.

Ahh yeah, I see that now. Maybe they put 0 at 5'oclock so that at idle, you're real close to 6? If you still want a shift light, maybe you could install one of those real small remote mount LED ones that autometer has?

I've always planned on cutting the base off and mounting something like that right above my tach, in the dash.
